Jealous Echidna Edition- Other Australian Animals

I recently talked to an echidna, and he was jealous that the platypus was getting all the attention. So, in order to make up for any previous lack of mention, I am posting a Jealous Echidna edition!


An echidna is kind of like a hedgehog. It looks like a little spiky hedgehog with an odd snout. Here's a photo:

It is, like a platypus, a monotreme and an egg-laying mammal. Echidnas are also called spiny anteaters.
